LuminoCity is a collaboration between Funk Format and Portsmouth Creates for the We Shine Portsmouth 2022. Featuring laser projections and physical movement, this event invites people to illuminate their moving silhouettes onto a giant cliff.

Members of the public can take part in free dance workshops with special guests and watch performances by local talents. A live DJ will fuel the event with party tunes. Everyone is invited to participate, get creative with their moves and enjoy a party atmosphere. The event is inclusive and catered for every ability, even if you have two left feet.

Funk Format Soul Rawkus, founded by Sasha Biloshisky, is the longest-running and the most trusted authentic Street Dance organisation in Hampshire. Funk Format inspires people of all ages to follow their passions by building their confidence and skills.

As a recipient of Arts Council England and Heritage Fund grants, Sasha partners with other organisations to create new opportunities for people to nurture their creativity and entrepreneurial skills through artistic projects, hip-hop dance and culture. Sasha performed and taught sessions in 17 countries across Europe, the Middle East and East Asia. Sasha’s performance work was seen on stage and on TV channels by millions of people worldwide.
